Community Engagement Programs and Partnerships

Board Member

  • Acted as a board member and main point‑of‑contact for two primary volunteer locations.

  • Oversaw volunteer operations for the Epiphany Middle School food‑preparation initiative and Brookview House, managing a volunteer cohort exceeding 220 members from the school‑wide community

  • Led event‑planning and on‑site coordination for multiple large‑scale community‑service initiatives:

Massachusetts Special Olympics Track & Field (2025‑2026):

Hosted the opening ceremony and coordinated operations for 550+ athletes with disabilities and 75+ event volunteers.

Massachusetts Special Olympics Basketball Competition (2026):

Managed 150+ participating athletes and 20-member volunteer team. Coordinated athlete assignments, managed scorekeeping and calculations, delegated responsibilities to volunteers, and ensured the safety and well-being of all participants and staff.

Holiday Food and Gift Drive (2026):

Sourced, sorted and distributed donations to Brookview House and Rosie’s Home shelters; delivered over 100 gifts to three under‑resourced local schools (Grover School, The Henderson School, The Shaw-Taylor School).

Annual Hunger‑Awareness Spring Walk (2025‑2026):

Directed and coordinated student volunteers for a hunger-awareness walk at Boston Common, advancing regional advocacy on food insecurity across Greater Boston.

Board Member

  • Milton’s official feminist publication

  • Served on the editorial board of Milton’s official feminist publication, collaborating with seven board members to curate and edit creative and written work.

  • Helped produce an annual full-length edition and seasonal mini-issues, earning the school’s “Best Publication Award.”

Mock Trial

Co-Head

  • ​Led Milton’s exclusive law-focused student advocacy organization, cultivating members’ public speaking, critical reasoning, and rhetorical capabilities while elevating students' awareness of their legal rights protection and civic responsibility.​​

  • ​Oversaw club operations, including curating guest speaker sessions, facilitating weekly skill-building meetings, and recruiting and training competitive delegates for prestigious international mock trial competitions; sustained an active membership of over 30 consistent participants throughout the year.

The Mosaic

Co-Head

  • Founded and serve as Editor-in-Chief of The Mosaic, Milton’s first-ever student-led publication dedicated to cultural diversity, establishing a brand-new campus platform for cross-cultural expression, inclusive storytelling, and underrepresented student voices.

  • Secured institutional funding from the school’s DEIJ department to sustain publication operations; leveraged board-member leadership to establish partnerships with the International Student Club, expanding collaborative outreach and broadening the publication’s diverse community impact.

Board Member

  • Direct a student advocacy organization centered on advancing critical, inclusive dialogue surrounding gender equity, lived social experiences, and marginalized community perspectives to drive awareness and cultural growth.

  • Facilitate collaborative, skill-building and peer education workshops in partnership with campus affinity groups including Brothers Bonding, fostering constructive community discourse and advancing gender justice education.

  • ​Design and coordinate high-impact campus-wide equity initiatives, developing educational period awareness videos and executing official Denim Day programming for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Speech and Debate 

Team Member

  • Earned competitive selection to Milton Academy’s nationally recognized, award-winning Speech and Debate Team, gaining admission through a rigorous tryout and evaluation process.

  • ​Competed as a core team member across two consecutive seasons, consistently representing the school at elite-level tournaments.

  • Supported team growth by mentoring novice competitors, refining their public speaking and argumentation skills to elevate overall team performance.​​
